  • Digital X-rays
  • DIAGNOdent Cavity Detection
  • Intraoral Imaging
  • CompuDent-Wand :  Electronic Dental Anesthetic Delivery System
  • Electronic Patient Records
  • Electronic Claim Processing

Waterlase hard and soft tissue lasers offer a myriad of benefits to improve your dental care experience, including:

  • Painless treatment
  • Biological dentistry
  • Accuracy and precision
  • Reduced trauma
  • Improved cavity fillings
  • Less bleeding and swelling
  • Fewer dental visits
  • Versatility

Unlike the dental drill, the WaterLase generates no heat, vibration, or pressure, which are the primary causes of pain during traditional dental treatments. The WaterLase means fewer shots, and it lessens the bleeding and swelling associated with certain procedures as well. We can improve the bond strength of fillings, avoid the cracks that can be caused by dental drills, and get you back on your feet faster with shorter healing times with the WaterLase.

Digital X-Rays

With digital radiography, Dr. Lippard is able to produce X-ray images of your mouth and jaw without all the radiation associated with traditional X-rays. In fact, digital X-rays emit up to 90% less radiation. A small sensor sends the images of your mouth to a computer, producing detailed digital images with no need for film. With digital X-rays, Dr. Lippard can get an in-depth look at your smile while producing less medical waste, making digital X-rays environmentally friendly and great for your health.

Our preventive dentistry strategy includes DIAGNOdent, a piece of technology that helps up discover cavities in their earliest stages. DIAGNOdent is a portable laser device that can increase our ability to detect small cavities on back teeth. With traditional methods of cavity detection, we might not find these cavities so early, which is why DIAGNOdent is so vital for keeping your teeth healthy.

Intra-Oral Imaging

Would you like to be able to see what we see when we look in your mouth? Using a small digital camera, we can show you magnified images of damaged teeth to help you better understand your treatment needs. These images will be shown to you on full color chairside monitors for easy treatment planning.

CompuDent Wand: Electronic Dental Anesthetic Delivery System

We can minimize the discomfort associated with anesthesia delivery with the CompuDent Wand. Using computerized technology, the anesthetic is administered using tiny injectors and pulsing instead of a syringe. This reduces pressure, which is the main cause of the pain of injections. Patients generally can't even tell when the shot has been administered!

Paperless Charting

Because our dental office is completely digital, we have no need for paper records. Our X-rays and charts are all stored electronically, which makes our system more efficient, allows for greater standardization, and makes it easy for our staff to keep consistent information for every patient. With paperless charting, we can offer more accurate and precise care. Paperless charting is also great for the environment.

Electronic Claim Processing

We send a claim to your dental insurance electronically, which means that processing takes less time, and we're able to handle your claimes with improved efficiency and accuracy. Thanks to electronic claims processing, we've seen a reduction in claims returned or denied. We're happy to file your dental insurance claims to make treatment less of a hassle for you.
