Lynda has been working in dentistry for nearly 15 years so far, and she loves being around such wonderful team members and patients each day here at Dr. Lippard’s office! Originally from Goldsboro, NC, she studied at Appalachian State.
At home, Lynda is happily married with two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her favorite activities outside of working hours are going to bible study, knitting, attending church, completing crossword puzzles, and keeping up with current events here in the USA.
Catherine hails from Vineland, NJ, and her career as a dental hygiene spans over 26 years so far. She studied at Virginia Western Community College and has advanced training in CPR and handling patients with dementia. She loves taking good care of each person in her treatment chair and getting to know them on a personal level!
Catherine and her husband have two daughters and one son. When she has free time, her favorite hobbies include cooking, reading, walking, biking, gardening, and (of course) hanging out with her family. She also has a passion for antiquing and combing the beach for shells/shark’s teeth. Making sandcastles is always a top priority too!
While Becky may be relatively new to our dental office, her career in the field overall impressively spans over 40 years so far, with time spent in general dentistry, periodontics, and public health. She even taught dental hygiene for two years! She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University and holds certifications in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and forensic investigation. What she enjoys most about her position is working alongside such a supportive dentist and team, as well as being able to provide high-quality hygiene care to her wonderful patients.
Originally from Norfolk, Becky has three adult sons and seven grandchildren. When she has free time outside of the practice, her hobbies include traveling, sewing, and visiting the beach.
Christina received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene through Germanna Community College in 2006. She strives to be an important part of improving our patients’ oral health through excellent care, education, and stressing the connection between dental wellbeing and overall wellbeing.
Her goal is for each patient to leave the chair feeling like they had the best treatment possible! She is also a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and has served as the Legislative Chair in the Monticello Dental Hygienists Association. Outside of working hours, she stays very busy with her two beautiful children, spends quality time outdoors, and plays softball and volleyball.
Kristin joined our practice in 2005 and brought with her an extensive knowledge of the dental industry. Her high energy level and ability to tackle any task from repairing dental equipment to IT trouble shooter has made her a valuable asset to our small family-oriented practice. Kristin’s love of children has made her a favorite among our younger patients. She puts children at ease from the moment they see her! Kristin performs chairside assisting, sterilization, fabricates bleach trays and nightguards, and coordinates implant and laboratory procedures. Kristin’s favorite thing about her job is getting to know the patients and learning new techniques and procedures. She was born in Waynesboro, VA; grew up in Elkton; and now lives in Charlottesville with her husband William, and their three children. In her spare time she enjoys swimming and camping with her family. As a well-rounded, goal-oriented person, she’s a great fit for a job that requires her to wear so many different hats!
